OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify vaccines and their diseases that are recommended by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
  2. Recognize the basic components and descriptors in the physical examination of the lungs.
  3. Identify the most common early and late clinical manifestations of Parkinson disease.
  4. Review the differential diagnosis of prolonged cough in a child.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge of epidemiology, diagnosis, management and prevention of pertussis.
  6. Identify factors related to the resurgence in pertussis.
