Providing corrective feedback to learners can be difficult and uncomfortable, but is necessary in order to close the learning gap between expectations and observed performance. It also serves to increase the learner's self-awareness. In this module, learn strategies for preparing and delivering corrective feedback in order to improve student performance.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this online activity, learners will be able to:

1) Identify the importance of providing corrective feedback.
2) Recognize strategies for preparing, delivering, and reflecting on feedback given to learners.
3) Use a model for engaging with and giving feedback to learners.
