In this virtual presentation, Vincent VanBuren, PhD, discusses approaches to AI, how machine learning relates to AI, ways that AI can be used effectively in academic scholarship in medicine, and pitfalls and challenges of using AI for academic scholarship in medicine.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this online activity, learners will be able to:

1) Describe some different approaches to AI and how machine learning relates to AI.

2) Describe some ways that AI can be used effectively in academic scholarship in medicine.

3) Describe some pitfalls and challenges of using AI for academic scholarship in medicine.
