In this virtual presentation, Cathy Pepper, MLIS, MPH, and Diane Chico, PhD, discuss the fundamental purpose of an impact statement and its key components, the impact and quality of teaching and educational research contributions, and ways to increase impact of teaching and educational research contributions.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this online activity, learners will be able to:
1) Describe the fundamental purpose of an impact statement and its key components.
2) Write a compelling and accurate impact statement.
3) Describe the impact and quality of teaching and educational research contributions.
4) Identify ways to increase impact of teaching and educational research contributions (e.g., OAKTrust, etc.).
