The key influences that affect learner motivation are the learner's goals, the learner's value and expectancy related to those goals, and the learning environment. This module looks at the relationship between these influences and explores strategies to use to establish value and build positive expectancies among learners.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this online activity, learners will be able to:
1) Define motivation in the classroom.2) Identify factors that affect a learner's motivation in the classroom.
