Effective feedback is critical in bridging the gap between learner performance and expectations. It serves to develop learner communication, self-evaluation, and clinical skills. Through this module, learn about the key principles of effective feedback and strategies instructors can use when giving feedback.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this online activity, learners will be able to:

1) Identify barriers to giving effective feedback.
2) Explain the benefits of providing feedback.
3) Describe characteristics of effective feedback.
